2011 – 2012 Achivements

Mr Lawrence Dagadu CEO of Pacom Company in Texas USA donated one digital Library for schools in the Ayomavision area of operation.

The Digital Library has about 50.000 Books.

 We have presented 5 Doctor’s Examination beds to four health clinics in Ayoma, Baglo, Kute and old Ayoma.

These were donated by Dr. Mital and Dr. Dutta of London.

 We presented a large volume of school books to schools in Dzolu, old Ayoma, Baglo, Odumase and Lakanti all in our operational area.

These books were donated by Horsted Junior School in London.

 We presented clothings and toys to a nursery in Ayoma donated by Horsted Infant Junior School and parents Chatham Kent in the UK.

 We have shipped a container of  clothes, computers and wheel chairs to Ghana for presentation in our area of operation in November 2012.

Latest Updates

 We have installed two new computer centers in villages of Ayoma and Banglo and soon we will officially open these centers.

 The roof for the gari factory has been constructed and now we are seeking for funds to buy the fixtures and fittings for the factory.

 

Our objectives for the 2011

 To co-operate with similar charities operating in Africa for the same needs.  We are open to put together joint projects and keep poverty awareness in small villages as Ayoma.

 Our gari factory for the production of gari which is a by-product of cassava by the local women is now ready and the production will start in the second quarter of the year.

 We are going to ship a container to Ghana with school books, computers, and clothing. Also hospital equipments for Hohoe and Jasikan hospitals and the Ayoma health centre.

2010 Activities in Ghana

Some of our programs for 2010 are;

• Completion of the factory in Ayoma which has already started.
• Sourcing of the computers for the school in Ayoma and the other towns in the area.
• We are setting up a center for the school drop outs to be trained in clothes making and hair dressing, so that the unfortunate ones can have a vocation for the their future.
• We are in the final stages of accruing a farming land to cultivate food so the youth can have a source of income working on our farms.
• We are arranging another medical outreach program for the entire area of Ayoma , this would also include eye care with doctors and other medical specialist just as the one we did in 2007 which treated over 2,000 patients over three days all by Ayoma vision.

2009 Activities in Ghana

 

• Presented blankets to the Ayoma Health Post and the Jasikan district hospitals.
• We presented books and two laptops to the schools in Ayoma which were donated by Hill House International school in the UK.
• We donated clothing to the children in Ayoma, donated by friends of Ayoma vision including the Draycott hotel staff.
• We acquired land in Ayoma for a medium food processing factory for the production of “Gari”. A by product of cassava, a root plant which will give employment to the local women and also to help the farmers to cultivate cassava which we shall buy for our factory. This will help our goal of poverty alleviation.
